About Me

Jacob Daniel

I am a videographer and content creator from Indiana Wesleyan University with a passion for creating. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where production became a passion of mine. My first experience with production came my freshman year in the form of WIWU-TV, Indiana Wesleyan's own TV station, where I became a camera operator, and later was trusted with the replay operation duties. WIWU gave me the opportunity to learn the ins-and-outs of live production. In the summer of 2019, I took an internship with the Kokomo Jackrabbits. For the Jackrabbits I held a game-day position where I helped with the production of their webcast. I also created promotional videos for the video board at the Jackrabbit's Stadium. In the summer of 2020, I became the videographer at K-2, Kanakuk Kamps high school camp. At K-2, I captured what it was like to go to camp and created a term video after every two weeks at camp. At Indiana Wesleyan, I am the lead videographer and content producer for the athletic department. I work directly with the Athletic Department to help create content for social media to enhance the IWU Athletics brand. I have covered 15 out of the 18 varsity sports here at Indiana Wesleyan including basketball, soccer, volleyball, softball, tennis, and baseball. I also play 1 of the 18 varsity sports in football. Football has taught me discipline and the importance of hard work. My connection with the football team has also allowed me to create content for the IWU Football brand. I love capturing moments and creating content that makes you feel something and I want to continue that in my future career.
